VOCATIONS
As Catholics, we are called by baptism to a "common priesthood" - a call to holiness and service. For many, this vocation is lived out in the sacrament of marriage; for others it is a call to the single life. These people carry out their vocations in the secular world or in church ministry. For some, the vocation call is to the priesthood or religious life. There must be a concerted effort to help all members of the church to live their vocations including the encouragement of likely candidates to the priestly or religious state.
